The Winter That Won’t Quit

Hard to believe that on 7 April, in Washington, DC, they are calling for snow flurries… but they are.   This is the winter that just won’t quit in the DC area.   Yet, my daughter and I made the trek down to the Tidal Basin, to see the Cherry Blossoms, this morning.   It was cold, wet, and windy…  with no sunrise from all the cloud cover.   But, I walked away with a little Jefferson, Washington, and Cherry Blossoms.

Singing In The Rain…

This little guy looks like he is ready to start tap dancing. The other little ducks around him were shaking off water from their recent trip to the pond making it appear as of it was raining.  This fella looked like he was ready to break out dancing and in song — “I’m singin’ in the rain, Just singin’ in the rain, what a glorious feelin’ I’m happy again…”
